Nothing says christmas like a chocolate orange :-)
They only had this new volcanic popping candy version and not the regular kind at Bobby’s. Can’t wait to munch on this while watching my favorite christmas movies: Elf, Christmas Vacation and Home Alone, yay!
Eastern Promises was on my to-watch list for ages. I finally watched it yesterday and I am in awe for so many reasons. I have this (weird?) fascination with the Russian culture and language, so this movie was very satisfying in that aspect. Also, Viggo Mortensen’s coolness and badassery are almost unbearable. That scene above, my god… Only downsides were Armin Müller-Stahl’s German accent (wtf, even American Viggo was able to do a Russian accent) and Vincent Cassel’s disgustingly sleezy and needy (but very well-played) character. That man is a god; it was really weird to see him in a role like that… Anyway, it’s a fantastic movie!
I love love love the Stendig Calendar and I have the most perfect spot for it in my apartment… (plus at the end of the year it makes for awesome wrapping paper) Unfortunately I don’t know where to get it in Vienna and shipping from the US might be a bit too expensive :-( I guess I will just have to marvel at its simplistic helvetica perfection from afar *sigh*

Oatmeal with raisins and cinnamon and Starbucks instant coffee for breakfast
I bought the coffee while in London because you can’t get it in Vienna. It’s super expensive (12 packets for 5,75 GBP) but really good. Very close to the real thing, filter coffee that is, not espresso of course :-) I am almost ashamed to admit that I am a total lover of instant coffee…

I’ll wear this shade for New Year’s Eve, my favorite holiday of the year (when hopefully my nails will have grown a bit!)
Saw London Boulevard while in London. The movie got mixed reviews and I have to agree that it was a bit off at times… but what it lacked in story it made up for with Colin Farrell in awesome suits and sexy cars :-)
